When it comes to gutters, there are two main types: seamless and seamed. Seamless gutters are made from one continuous piece of material, while seamed gutters are made from several pieces of material that are joined together (usually with some type of seam). In this blog post, we’ll explore the pros and cons of both types of gutters so that you can make the best decision for your home.

Pros Vs. Cons

PROS:
-Seamless gutters are less likely to become clogged or leak, since there are no seams for water to seep through.
-They’re offered in the same material options as seamed gutters (i.e. aluminum, vinyl, etc.), so you can still choose your preferred material.
-Seamless gutters are created on site from sheets of your chosen material; they only have joints at corners and downspouts.
CONS:
-Seamless gutters are more costly than seamed gutters; they typically cost about 20-30% more.
-They require special equipment for installation, so you’ll need to hire a professional if you want them installed.

Seamless Gutters Are Stronger Than Seamed Gutters

As you can see, there are pros and cons to both seamless and seamed gutters. Ultimately, the best type of gutter for your home will depend on your budget and your desired level of maintenance. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance option that will last longterm, seamless gutters may be the way to go. However, if you’re working with a tight budget, seamed gutters may be a better option for you.
